Words of the Month for May: Responsibility and Exploration

Dear Students, Families, and Staff,
Can you believe we’ve reached May? There is a certain electricity in the air this month, the buzz of a school year reaching its crescendo. May is often our busiest month, serving as a bridge between the hard work of the past three seasons and the celebrations that lie ahead. It is a time for "final pushes" in the classroom and "final bows" on the stage.
🌸 Key Highlights for the Month
Appreciation Week: This week, we celebrate our incredible educators. A small note of thanks from a student or parent often means more to a teacher than anything else. Don't forget to participate in our activities this week!
Testing & Academic Milestones: While we focus on the "whole child," we also want to acknowledge the focus and grit our students are showing during year-end assessments. You’ve got this!
💡 A Thought on "The Finish Line"
As the calendar fills up, it’s easy for students (and parents!) to feel a bit of "spring fever." My challenge to our students this month is to finish strong. Excellence isn't just about how you start; it’s about the integrity and effort you put into the final weeks.
"The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you." — B.B. King
Thank you for your continued partnership in making this school year a success. Let’s make this May one to remember!
Warmly,
Mrs. Elisondo
Principal
Estimados Estudiantes, Familias y Personal:

Dear Parents,
If you’re feeling a bit like a marathon runner who has just spotted the "one mile left" sign, you aren't alone. May is a month of high energy, but it can also be a season of high pressure. Between final projects, exams, and the bittersweet feelings of saying goodbye to another school year, it’s a lot to carry. As your counselor, my goal this month is to help everyone cross that finish line with their well-being intact.
Best,
Jessica Baza
School Counselor
Estimados padres:
Atentamente,
Jessica Baza
Consejera Escolar
